  1. it doesnt matter if its her first, second or 10th litter.

How many pups she produces will depend on how many eggs she released.  She could have more, less, or the same number.

  2. Well it really depends on how large the Dog is i know you said mastiff Well you said (Staff) but it depend on her size and like someone else said it depends on how many eggs she produced and if you want to know how many puppies she will have is go to the vet and get her ultrasounded usually dogs can have litters form 1-20 depends on the breed and size of the dog

  3. a second time? You should of got it fixed the first time!

  4. Only the Good Lord in Heaven has the answer to this one.  Happy puppies.

  5. No, there's no way of telling - other than with ultrasound obviously, ever tried this?

By the way - have you ANY idea how many staffies there are in shelters right now? Unless you're keeping all the pups this dog produces, you're taking up badly needed homes by letting her have these pups. What I'm saying is please, please for the sake of all the staffs in the world as well as the health of your own dog - please get her spayed after this litter.

  6. No. It is hard to say how many she will have. If you really want to know your vet can take an x ray and get an exact number for you.

  7. I am pretty sure it isn't true.  She can probably have any where from 1 to 10.

Why did you let her get pregnant again?   I hope you'll have her spayed when this litter is weaned.

  8. how could have let her get accidentally pregnant again?  didn't you spay her after the last fiasco?

YOUR ULTRASOUND will let you know... haven't you had that done yet?

    UGH   BYB

  9. The rule of thumb I follow is: whatever the mom had (the litter your pup was from) is usually the number of eggs released.

I had one female that had 3 litters of 11.  One of her daughter's had a litter of 12, and a litter of 11.  The last girl I bred was from a litter of 12, and she had 11.

I would hazard a guess that you can expect the same as the last time.

Old wives tales abound!  If the male has good sperm, you'll have as many pups as eggs released.

    Good luck with your whelping.

  10. You can take her to the vet and get and x-ray or an ultrasound to get a real answer. Litter vary, it doesn't matter if it is her first or 8th...

  11. How the heck would we know how many pups she will have?  We're not psychic.

If you need to ask this question here it is a sign that you don't know anywhere near enough to be breeding.
