  2. The 1998 Blazer, whether 4x2 or 4x4 holds 11.2 quarts of transmission fluid.

  3. IIRC it is about 6 qts. The owners manual specs the capacity in pints but I'm not anywhere my truck at the time to look at my manual.

    It is approx 6qts for a 'run' tranny; saying that the TC is already full and your doing just a fluid/filter change. If it was a new install, you would also need to fill the torque convertor with fluid before install and it by itself holds ~3qts.
