I am sure some of you ladies will respond negatively towards this, but this kid is like 13, and asking numerous questions in a day and it's getting quite old in a hurry. I posted in the YA forum to ask about what can be done, but no responses of yet. I know this kid probably wants to learn and his little brain is like a sponge trying to soak things up. I only hope that you don't all get defensive and resort to that nurturing mode that seems to be innate. It's simply a matter of, how much can you really learn asking all those questions and still retain that information at the same time?
Isn't this what your schooling is for and your parents to guide you? Sure not all parents keep fish but still, maybe the kid could make use of the local library instead of bombarding this board with all kinds of questions and little hope of really learning anything. Doesn't this to some degree, with the numerous hours the 13 year old spends on the internet and in this forum constitute some kind of parental neglect?
Why would a 13 year old use man in their name too? Are we back to the medeviel times when someone might possibly be considered a man at that age? I'm not against anyone learning something new, but I mean for crying out loud, I know I can't be the only one that is getting a little tired of the board being bombed out with this kid's insatiable desire to ask ask ask. It doesn't really matter if you answer that much back, the point is, you can't effectively learn all that information all in one day as it appears he tries to do, and there's so many other ways to find this same information. I really hope YA implements some kind of kid and teen board for these things. It's getting really annoying, even though that user promised to stop. I want to know what's wrong with going to your parents for answers too? Is that some kind of lost art these days?
