How many "true" friends do you have? ?

What do you consider a true friend to be?

Do you really believe in such thing? True friends are bullshit. I have some friends (not really that close, though), and they consider themselves a BEST BEST BEST friends. But look at the reality. They just backstab each other without knowing what they've done!! Is that really what true friends do? If you answer yes, then I think YOU have one.

I have had one since I was 3, and a true friend to me is someone you can tell anything too, trusting. Who will be there for each other through thick and thin.

I have many friends but not one like my true one.

This is a sad reflection on myself but like most of the others I have none. Single women are bitchy and married women are envious. Men are scared to ask me to date so I am pretty much alone. The up side is that I have no baggage.

I find as you get older and dont get about as much you lose a lot of friends. The people who stick by you are your true friends

I have 2, and someone that is loyal, honest, trustworthy, and you can count on them all the time and tell them anything is a true friend.

i have 5 true friends - the ones which will really last thru time.  there are different reasons - 1 (my best friend) is someone i have known and been friends with for over 10 yrs - our history binds us together.  others are simply people i trust completely and have alot in common with and my truest friend is the one who knows everything about me, i know everything about her and just have a really deep love for each other.
