How many ratings do you have on your LAUNCHcast station, and how long have you used it?

I am curious to see how my station compares with others'. I have been a registered nonmember for 2 1/2 years now, carefully perfecting my station to match my taste (and within a few months, I was absolutely satisfied with my station, but continued to rate new music!)

My station currently has 4 genres rated (to block all holiday music), 282 artists, 870 albums, and 10,181 songs. And I've taken special care to see that every song on the station is clean (respecting God, s*x, and curse words). I gotta say, I don't hear the same song twice in a month very often!

Anyone else care to brag about their station? I'm interested!

Sure.  I've been using Launchcast for almost 8 years.  I mainly pursue a strategy of rating songs, not artists.  I don't go out of my way to rate songs I don't like, just the ones I do like.  This seems to work pretty well, and like yours, my station is really good at playing what I want to hear.  I have about 500 artist ratings, 2000 album ratings, 28,000 song ratings, and just a few genre ratings.  I add a few hundred ratings a month.  I've seen at least one station out there with over 1,000,000 ratings!

I listened to regular Launchcast for a few years and switched to Launchcast Plus 3-4 years ago.  Well worth the $36/year.  I've discovered quite a bit of music I never knew about through Launchcast.  Let's hope Yahoo doesn't mess up a good thing!
