  1. 15, when racked

  2. Depends on the size of the table. 15 on a 12ft table and 10 on 6ft or smaller.

  3. None. The balls are made separately from the table. The only thing on a snooker table is the green cloth.

  4. 15

  5. None.  I've potted them all.  I win.

  6. this is a silly question

    15

  7. 15. Here's a diagram:

  8. This a trick question? (15) for the umpteenth time.

  9. 15 unless you are colour blind then who knows

  10. It all depends how long it is since the game started.

  11. One red ball if you are playing billiards on a snooker table.

6 red balls (and six colours) if you are playing 'golf'.

    These are the 'starting points'.

As in all games on a snooker table, the actual number of balls on the table at any given time depends upon the state of play e.g. 15 'racked' at the start of a snooker frame and no remaining reds after a break of 113, containing 15 reds and 14 blacks. (Obviously, the final black and the remaining colours, if potted, lead to the coveted 147 break.)

Of course, there are many ways and combinations of breaks which could lead to the 'disappearance' of all reds below the so-called 'maximum'.

I once saw a 'legal' 152 break. The questioner might like to ask another question as to how this is possible in snooker, even in a proper championship match.  It could be as high as 155. We wait - perhaps forever - for this to occur!

  12. 15 plus 2 if the player has to reach as far as they can provided they're male

  13. none - youre not allowed drinks on a snooker table
