How many registries are too many?

We are already registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Walmart and Sears. Would it be too much to also register at Target? I'm not sure about registry etiquette and all, but I know that I would like to register at Target, I'm just not sure if this is too much!

  1. I just had my second Bridal shower last Sunday.I registered at BBB and Sears but my grandmother made me register at Jcpenny for the convince for everyone. Target is a horrible place for brides to register. There return policy sucks. It has to be returned with in 14 days with receipt if you don't have it, your shitt out of luck.

  2. I say two is good, otherwise it's a little overboard.

  3. Having 4 or more is really too many.  I would draw the line at 3.

  4. 1 is anough cause if you have alout then you can loose track of the money and they can still like 50cents a day which isnt a lot but it adds up

  5. I think that Wal-Mart AND Target is too much and repetitive. Wal-Mart isn't that much cheaper than Target that you need both.

  6. I think 2 or 3 registries are enough. More than that and you may come off as greedy. Also, my fiance' and I went to Target to register and asked about their return policy. They said that in order to return an item, we could only return things 2 separate times and the total transaction has to be under $35 and they would only give us store credit. UNLESS you have a receipt, then they will take the return and give you store credit. But seriously, are you really gunna ask people where they bought your present from, then proceed to request a receipt to return it? I don't think so. I would advise to NOT register at Target.

  7. Yeah, 4 is way too many.  In fact, 3 is pushing it too.   You should really have 2, at the very most.

  8. I think it depends on how many showers you are having.  If I were you I wouldn't put more than two MAYBE three of the places on the same invitation.  Really, unless there's a reason like one family doesn't have access to a store or something I would think there should only be two or three registries.  One for china and fancy stuff one for other stuff.  Why would you need Walmart, Target and BBB?  How are you going to decide what to register for where... many things you can probably get at two if not all three of the stores.

  9. I'd say 2 would be the limit for me... if you're having  200 or more guest...3 registries would be classy...you want to be able to give your guest a variety & to consider everyone's budget. Everyone may not be able to afford they crystal; but a toaster from Walmart may be feasible...you also want to leave the door open for monetary gifts as well. Try not to get too carried away;registrying because the monetary gifts will come in handy for your honeymoon :) Congrats.

  10. One seems like enough.
