How many rest days is it ok to take from weight lifting?

I work out on a daily basis but the YMCA is closed for 2 days in a row, i typically take at least 1 rest day a week but never more than one in ar row and i just dont want to come in after it reopen and be back atsquare one cuz one time i had to go on a trip for a week and when i came back i couldnt lift at all

  1. depending on the intensity and what part you worked out after a hard session of legs I tend to take the next day off or a hard day of chest I will take a day of and come back the day after it all depends on your body and recovery rate etc.


  2. 2 days should be ok but if you want do push ups or lift your bed or something heavy
