  1. Well, i am entering shows soon and i think i will one some!

fingers crossed! lol! good question xoxox

  2. well i don't show very much. we have in school shows every once in a while but other than that i just don't. so ive won 2 ribbons. a 3rd and a 1st. both dressage cuz that's all i do. ummm.... before our most recent show i was super nervous and my friend finally convinced me to enter and i placed 3rd in my class so that was pretty great

  3. Honestly 0.

I wasn't lucky enough to be able to enter shows. My family doesn't own a trailer so if I want to go some place with my horse I have to ride, or walk him there. It's really sad sometimes because all my friends have ribbons in their binders at school and pictures of their horses winning at local shows, while I just have a picture of my horse.

People at my school often don't consider me to be a cowgirl just because I've never entered into a rodeo event, or horse show. It just doesn't feel right, especially because my friends always have stuff handed to them, while I have to work for it.

All their horses were already trained when they got them, and their parents know just about everything there is about horses, while I had to train my horse myself, and my parents are clue less. I go to the internet every time I have a problem with my horse, because I don't have anyone to advise me on what to do lol.

But I have been able to show pigs, and 1 lamb. I kicked butt in FFA!

    My first year in FFA...

    Hog Shows...

First Show - 1st in Class with my berk barrow.

Second Show - 3rd in Class with my berk.

Third Show/County - 3rd in Class and 6th premium berk.

    Lamb Shows...

First Show - 3rd in Class with Crossbred lamb.

    Second Show/County - 4th premium

My second year in FFA... I got 8 ribbons with 2 pigs. Not sure which pigs got what, but it was a good year. =D

  4. I have boxloads of mine and my daughter's...I couldn't tell you how many.  Mine are from years past, mostly in western pleasure, horsemanship, trail and gymkhana...my daughter's are in hunting/jumping and some western halter and pleasure.

The best ribbon that i have gotton was when i was 13 and won the jr exhibitor open pleasure class out of 33......

  12. i have too many lol

lots are laying around the house. but my most prized are hanging on my wall. for example ones from big shows. i mostly have 1-3rd but my one third means more to me than all my firsts because i got third out of about 60. my horse does extremely well in english or western pleasure classes and Eq !

i also love my neck sashes and trophies from big shows :)

i usually offer the ribbons i win at small shows to younger kids who place low and feel lousy :) it makes most happy :) except for the few that feel like they havent earned it lol

  13. i have 23 and in all difrent caorgories

  14. +2 points =P

  15. uhhhhhh.......

  16. all you guys are trying to do is show off i bet half of you are lying i could say i have won 100 and no one would ever know this is g*y

  17. Around 17. My lowest being 6th.

    Have fun showing!!

  18. i was at a pinto horse show in winona minnesota in may and there were 6 judges and i got about 26 ribbons and that was my best show with pete and some were my trainers shanas and but all together in my show life i have not gotten ribbons for every time i show bc they dont always give ribbons but all of the placings i have gotten i have about 50-75 some where in there!!!!

  19. I have blues and reds..

But the best ones could be even 6th place in an arena with stiff competition, and knowing that my mule beat 50 other animals..

I don't so much go on the placings as I do the competition I beat.

  20. None.. :(

  21. tons lol like a couple bags full.

they were gymkhana ribbons, all different colors and styles.

mostly 1st and 2nds. but i have alot of 3rds and up from wen i was little.

i still wen a lot of ribbons but im getting into winning belt buckles, horse tack, money, ect. bigger things.

idk wat i did best in but im training my gelding for barrels and we are gonna go far.

    : D

  22. I have only shown my horse once. We got fourth, but my horse knew nothing when I bought her a few months before the show. The other horses all "knew their stuff", so I was thrilled to death with fourth.

However I show rabbits a lot. And I couldn't even begin to count all of those ribbons. I have enough to cover my wall.

  23. Got me a moving box full, looks like a freaking rainbow in there. Then got 2 moving boxes full of buckles. But my best accomplishments have been. Scored a 93 bull riding, 87 saddle bronc, 81 bareback, and the very first horse I trained was a flea bitten grey shetland pony when I was 6. Took hime to a local open show and won 1st place on that little bugger, his name was Floodwater Floyde the Flood Stud. He was rescued from some floods and no one claimed him so we took him and I trained him(under my fathers supervission). I did all the ground work and the riding, everything from A-Z. As my dad said to me '' You wanna train, then you do it all.'' All he did was sit by and make sure I didn't get killed and gave pointers.

I think that was the momment I knew that I wanted to train horses for a living.

  24. 3 i dont show very much

  25. I've won too many ribbons to count. Most were at local shows. There are a lot of different memories to think about.

Once, I was running barrels at a regional show. I tipped forward over Candy's shoulder (just leaning) around the first barrel. She stopped and I was stunned. I was like "Go, GO!!!". I lost my first stirrup around the second barrel and nearly fell over her other shoulder. And I lost my second stirrup around the third barrel. So, I ended up full out galloping the length of the arena without stirrups and realizing there was no more arena left when Candy took a quick left.

Another time, I was running a sack race with Candy and my friend and my friend's horse. We started when we were given the okay. We got to the other end of the arena and into the potatoe sack when they told us we had to start over. So, we both got our hosres and lead them back to the start line. Rikki (my friend) got onto her horse no problem. I went to hop onto Candy. Candy decided it was time to run again. Thank goodness I hold onto the horn when I get on. She took off running and I landed behind the saddle. For some odd reason, nobody came out to stop my horse. So I ended up taking a run up the arena behind my saddle. I managed to stop her at the other end of the arena. We got back to the start line, and ran our full run. We ended up in second place.

Those are just a few of the fun times.

  26. ive won lots of ribbons but not all in horse contests

    :)

  27. I showed horses for 13yrs. I have no idea how many ribbons and trophy's I have. I have boxes upon boxes full of them.

    Biggest accomplishments:

    - Reserve Champion of the Year on a Show Circuit

    - Was invited to show a Saddlebred Stallion at the World Pinto Show in AZ in 2005 (unfortunately could not go)
