  1. hiiiiiiii

fish can have up to four ribs on each vertebra(The Vertebral column (singular: vertebra) are the individual irregular bones that make up the spinal column (aka ischis) — a and flexible column common to all Vertebrates.)and this can easily be seen in the herring(small, oily fish of the genus Clupea found in the shallow, temperate waters of the North Atlantic, the Baltic Sea, the North Pacific, and the Mediterranean. There are 15 species of herring, the most abundant of which is the Atlantic herring (Clupea harengus)), although not all fish have this many.

    hope this helps you.......

  2. First off there is no such thing as just a fish, no average fish.  Each fish is a different species.  Therefore anatomical structure varies widely.  So a fish may have a few as 4 ribs and as many as 400.
