The square footage of Windsor Castle is 11.1 acres. I am not sure how many rooms, but I imagine it is not as many since some of the rooms are from the middle ages and are quite large. Construction work began in 1070.

-I am not sure how big Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh.

-Clarence House, still an official royal residence, was the home of the Queen Mother for 50 years, but is now the residence of Charles, Prince of Wales, his wife Camilla, and William and Harry. It is about 1 acre in size, and four stories.
