How many rugby games are there?

Im going to sweden next year and im wondering how many games of rugby does your team play in 1 year i read up about pools and diffrent tiers and evrything but. For natinal rugby how does the season go is it like football with 16 games playoffs and then superbowl with a game evry sunday or are rugby games like only evry month?

there are different cups in rugby such as the heineken cup and you also have the world cup and 6 and tri nation cups for international teams, but there are loadz of other cups aswell. Teams also play exhibition matches(friendlys) and games are on pretty much every week.
