Almost all of the real scientists on Y!A realize that humans are the primary cause of the current global warming, just like almost all of the real scientists outside Y!A.  Here is a summary of the scientific evidence.

I am a scientist.  I have researched the data from the IPCC and other sources.  When taking into account the enormous error in measurements, combined with ridiculous assumptions, there is no concrete evidence that man has caused global warming.  I am sick of some people who claim that a scientific organization has "endorsed" the THEORY that man is the major cause of global warming.  First, I am a member of some of these associations and no scientists that I know from these organizations subscribe to man-induced global warming.  At best, they believe that the science is incomplete.  Moreover, a number of those organizations receive funds to research global warming.  One of these organizations produces the magazine "Science".  This magazine is considered the equivalent of a tabloid magazine for science.

Then one takes into account how the "experts" told us one of the solutions was bio-fuels.  Now we know that these experts were nothing more then fools.  These "experts" told us we were going to experience levels of hurricanes like the 2005 hurricane season in 2006 and 2007.  The "experts" and the "Computer models" got it wrong once again.  These "experts" claimed that we were  experiencing global cooling 30 years ago.  In the 1990's NASA "experts" incorrectly claimed that life was found on a rock that came from Mars.  "Experts"?  Really?  Conclusive evidence?  I don't think so?

Please note that any "official" debate of global warming NEVER includes scientists who do not believe that man is responsible for global warming.  Wonder why?  Perhaps because there are people who do not want the truth - they have an agenda. Congress meets with Al Gore (not scientists) to discuss global warming.

Once again, many of these same boneheads claimed that bio-fuels were the solution and now we have serious problems with food shortages and the science shows that bio-fuels are less efficient and more expensive.  Brilliant work experts.  The poor are the ultimate victims of irresponsible science.  Global warming legislation will do nothing but cost everyone a fortune.

Global warming is a multi-billion dollar business.  Follow the "Green" money.  Those that are so concerned about global warming, lead and show us you are serious.  You can immediately eliminate your carbon footprint - buy enough "green" credits to completely offset you carbon footprint.  I am sure these new multimillionaires in the "Green" credit industry will love you for it.  

The planet is warmer; there is more CO2 in the atmosphere;

therefore, the planet is warmer because of CO2

97% of alcoholics drank milk as kids;

therefore, consumption of milk while a kid causes alchoholism

the rooster crows; the sun rises;

therefore, the sun rises because the rooster crows.

who cares how it happened,  global warming is a clear cut fact, ask the people who live in the far north.   heck, Discover magazine showed pictures taken on memorial day a century ago and a few years back, both from new england.   the old one had bare trees while the new one looked like summer.   something is OBVIOUSLY going on.   if we dont do something, we all die. regardless of the finger pointing or blame game.

I'M NOT A SCIENTIST, BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD AND INTERVIEWED FOR BEING ONE OF THE SMARTEST PEOPLE ON EARTH. MAN DOES'NT POSSESS THE KNOWLEDGE TO WEAKEN THE FORCE FIELD (OZONE). ONLY A VERY HIGH INTELLIGENCE CAN DO THIS, SINCE IT STARTED IN THE 1970'S. BUT I DO HAVE A SOLUTION PUBLISHED THIS MONTH  FOR THE FIRST STEP TO DELETE GLOBAL WARMING. IT TAKES A CERTAIN MINERAL PLACED IN CERTAIN LOCATIONS AROUND THE WORLD IN THE OCEAN TO LET NATURE TO RETURN TO NORMAL NATURALLY. ONLY WAY.

EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that this is real, and mostly caused by us.  The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

yes, there were natural changes in the past.  But the scientific data proves that the present change isn't natural.
