There have been 18 "Treehouses of Horror."

The Simpsons have finished 19 seasons and are soon to start their 20th though only the first ten are available currently on DVD with the 11th to come out on October 7.

There have only been 18 Tree-house of Horrors because there was not one during the first season. They started in Season 2
