  1. it has announced in this budget only so it will take atleast 5 years if the government is honest and if the same govt come back after election otherwise remote chances.

    and for how many seats for general category in iit 2008 then it differ in all iit and catogry wise batch wise also it differ. there are total 2300 seats in iit and after all reservation it come for general near about 1500 seats.
