  1. Depends on how long you've been swimming, age etc. Everybody is different where swimming is concerned. Normally for 25m I would expect about 10-11 seconds for a strong swimmer. For a week swimmer it could be a minute. For Phelps...

  2. well it takes me bout 17......but of course it depends on experience

  3. Depends how strong a swimmer you are it should be between 10 and 30 secs. It depends also how old you are.

10-12yr olds should go around 14-17 secs time if they are good.

13-16yr olds  should go around 11-15 secs time if they are good.

17+ elite swimmers should go between 10-12 secs.

The fastest ever 25m time was 8.57 from a dive to a touch finish.

  4. As many seconds as you like my friend, we wouldn't want you to drown!!

  5. it also depends what stroke you do

  6. I'm at secondary school and these times would be considered very good for our age.

    Frontcrawl - under 15 secs

    Breastroke - under 18

    Backstoke - under 17

    Fly - under 17
