How many semesters are in one year of collage?

I am wanting to start junior collage and I'm wanting to know how many semester are in one year of collage. I was told that one semester cost about 100$ hour so how many hours are in a semester?

I think the word you're looking for is "college". A "collage" is something entirely different.

It all depends on the school in question. Some schools charge per credit hour, and some schools charge a flat fee for the semester (meaning that you get quite a bargain if you take a lot of hours). My school has quarters instead of semesters; we go to school year-round and pay a "package deal" depending on how many classes we take per quarter (up to four). The more classes you take in one quarter at my school, the less it costs per credit hour.

You'd have to determine which classes you're taking, how many hours that adds up to, and then contact your college's financial office to see how much you'd have to pay.

Usually, there are two semesters per year at any school ("semi" means half), but some schools also have a "summer semester". It just depends on where you're at.

ok you have to take 30 credits a year to be done in 4 years.  So you can either do 4 classes fall and 4 winter and 2 summer or you can do  5 fall and 5 winter and take summer off.. Yet you are required to do ONE summer.

Typically 2 but you can take summer classes and some schools offer winter classes.  Traditionally 2 semesters for 4 years.
