I plan on enrolling in college in the spring of 09, and wanted to know if I could take these prerequisite nursing courses within two semesters.

I could go spring, summer and fall http://www.uncc.edu/admissions/Transfer/College_Transfer_Guide--Nursing.htm

  1. It is possible on the following schedule. The problem will be if the college offers the prerequisite courses in a Fall to Spring sequence only. For example, you will need Eng 1101 in the Spring before you take Eng 1102. If Eng 1101 is offered only in the Fall, that will be a problem. Several of the courses appear to be sequenced courses, so will need to see an advisor to check on availability. Also, this will be a very grueling class schedule.

    Spring 09 - 18 hours: Eng 1101, Chem 1203, Biol 1273, Math 1100, Nursing 2100, Psyth 1101

    Summer 1 - 6 hours: Chem 1204, Biol 1274

    Summer 2 - Biol 1259, Stats 1220

Fall 09 - 15-18 hours: Eng 1102, Soc 1100 or Anth 1101,  Nursing 2201, Nursing 2202, Foreign language (Shows only entry level, so check to see if you need two courses. If you need two, take one Summer 2 and move Stats to Fall 09)

  2. Your schedule is possible assuming the courses are given according to the schedule that you set up and it meets with the approval of your college./
