How many shots do they give you for wisdom teeth removal?

i'm kinda afraid of needles. and i was jus curious on average how many do they use, and where do they give them

its only one in either upper or lower wisdom tooth extraction, but splitted in 2 sites, its enough if the wisdom tooth is simpl 2 be extracted

For anyone tense about needles...........if you can have your teeth out by an oral surgeon,  they can put you to sleep before they even begin,   so you wouldn't even be awake or remember anything,  including any injections.

If you are going to be awake,  the average is a couple injections per tooth.   However,  the good news is,  after the first shot,  your gums are usually numb,  and you can't feel the rest of the shots.

Shots are no one's favorite,  but you want as much numbing as possible.   Remember,  you'll still feel pressure and tension,  but no sharp pain,  (unless your asleep).

If you are visiting a dentist like most dentists,  they allow you to bring in your IPOD or Mp3 player to listen to,  so you can listen to whatever music makes you the most relaxed,  so you could ask ahead of time if you can bring yours.

haha depends how much u need basically. i had 2 one time, 3 the next and the last one like 8 or 9 depends on the tooth.

u get an iv in your arm then before they wake you up you get novacaine but your asleep then so you'll never know

It really depends one of my friends got 4 one got 2 and one got 8.
