How many small businesses are in the United States?

I've googled it tons of times, and I can't find any RECENT information. Does anyone know where I can get Small Business statistics? (Not SBA.gov - I looked there.)

Anything more recent? I just want to know how many small businesses there are, and what the growth rate is.
