It depends on whether or not you are talking about current Springboks or just players of South African nationality. In the case of the later it's probably in the hundreds.

i was going to guess 6 if you only count those that recently played in the RWC.  If you include south africans in general or from provincial level its a whole lot more.  Some no longer even live in SA.
