  1. The Cleric knows all of his spells for which he is high enough level to cast (a good way to figure when you get spells is this [{spell lvl*2}-1]).

How many a 1st level can cast in a day is 2 o level, 1- 1st, 1 - 1st lvl domain, and 1 bonus spell for a high wisdom. You must not have a players handbook becuase that is such a basic question that listed on a table under the cleric section.

  2. "A cleric casts divine spells, which are drawn from the cleric spell list."

The D&D 3.5 cleric has access to ALL clerical spells and may choose his spells from any in the clerical lists.  A wizard, however, is restricted to choosing a set number (4 + INT modifier generally) from the complete list of wizard spells.

Therefore, a 1st level cleric may pray for 1 spell of any on the list (unless restricted by the deity, i.e. a healing god might not allow 'inflict wounds' spells).  He may get an additional spell if his wisdom is high.  Finally, he gets 1 bonus spell from one of the two domains that he chose.

  3. 1 standard spell, 1 domain spell, plus 1 more spell for every +1 of wisdom bonus your character has. The average cleric will have 4-5 spells at first level.

Page 8 details your bonus spells, page 31 gives your clerical spells.
