How would anyone know this without videotaping yourself asleep every night, or closely examining your f***s every day for spider parts, or some other measure?

How would.... A spider having 8 legs... have anything to do with the number someone eats?

Doesn't this question depend on whether or not you like to eat spiders though?

The spiders being eaten while you sleep thing is a myth.  Rarely does a bug or insect or spider find it way into a persons mouth.  Generally a person sleeps with the mouth closed.
