Depending on the manufacturer of the shingles a bundle weighs about 80 pounds a piece.  There are 3 bundles to a square.   So 1 square weighs about 240 pounds.  A half ton truck usually has haul load of about 1100 pounds... % squares will give you 1200 pounds... you decide how much abous your truck can take.

i can get .8 ton on my half ton gmc ,   if im not going very far...you should be able to haul 1500 lbs. without much effort...
