It costs $1.60 for a letter up to 30 grams to any country except the US.

You can buy a $1.60 stamp, or you can just put a bunch of stamps on it that add up to that amount.

One international $1.60 stamp or any combination of any number making the same total.

Advice found on this site...

If you want to save on postage don't affix four 30c ($1.20) as they will catch it and send the letter back to you (after a 3 weeks delay...).

Just put a 53c, a 25c, a 17c and a 30c plus five 1c and drop the letter in a street box, not at the post office. Employees at the central do not have time and will not total your stamps.

I do this about 10 times per week...
