Lmao. This is a funny question. It only takes one stamp if its a letter. If it's anything bigger just take it to the US post office and they will weight it and tell you how much to pay and they'll put the stamps on for you.

That number would depend on the face value of the stamps, the weight of the letter, and whether you sent it first class or by some other method.

One first class stamp for a letter under an ounce is 42 cents now.  There are several combinations that can make that amount, but one "forever" stamp" or one 42 cent stamp would do it.  42 one cent stamps would also work.

I mailed a letter in a flat 9 x 11 inch envelope yesterday with 4 sheets of paper inside.  It cost one dollar.
