mr. adams normally has 25 students. on monday 5 students were absent. mr. adams who also was given 3 new kids...on tuesday he had 10 kids absent. on wednesday 9 students were absent, and on thursday and friday all his students came back

I believe the answer is 116, but it could also be 113 depending on your interpretation.  If Mr. Adams got the 3 new kids on Monday, then he taught 23 that day.  If he got them for Tuesday, then he taught 20 on Monday.

Thursday - 28

Friday - 28

So I'm going with a total of 116!
