Each sub (whether a 6 inch or a footlong) counts as one unit. The computer keeps count on how many units are sold per hour. Now, to answer your question of how many subs are sold per day...it all depends on what day, and what location the subway is in. Mondays and Tuesdays = slow days...Fridays and Saturdays = busy days. A normal lunch rush at my subway can see about 30-40 subs an hour for about two or three hours. Dinner is not as busy, but it can get into the 30s on a Saturday or Friday night. A really busy location can mass produce subs at about 60 an hour.

So, I hope I helped...and remember...Please be nice to subway employees! If we are out of a certain type of bread, dont freak out on us! hahaha.

  4. It does vary from Subway to Subway.  My location sells between 400-500 sandwiches a day.  The breakdown on that is approximately 60-70% 6 inch sandwiches and 30-40% footlong sandwiches (those percentages are pretty mcuh average for all Subways).  During lunch we usually sell the most sandwiches with 11-12 pm at about 100 sandwiches alone.
