How many suitcases?

OKay i just want to know how many suitcases we are allowed to take traveling withing the U.S with continental? Is it two per person? And whats the weight of them? not counting carry on bags.

Whatever airline your are taking, they have a website, and somewhere in their website, they have the flight requirements. If you want, let me know the airline your taking and I can send you the web-page stating the information.

It depends on when you bought your ticket. The policy changed on April 5th.

They still allow you to check-in one bag up to 50 lbs for free. A second checked bag costs $25. However, you can expect the policy to change soon. United and US Airways just started charging for the 1st checked bag like American already does. If you bought your ticket before April 5th, you can check two bags each up to 50 lbs for free.

Normally it is two suitcases per passenger.  The weight of each bag has to be under 44 pounds.
