    There are 7 viola (they're working on 8) and 7 piano.

  2. There are 10 in total, though I'm not sure how many people really actually work through all ten... I have never been a fan of Suzuki method myself, and got tired of it around book 6... Went on to bigger and better things.

  3. There are 10 Suzuki books in all. Your level of playing can be described by which book you're currently playing from.

    Some teachers diligently teach through all ten books, but others choose which pieces for students to play while slipping in pieces not from the books.

    I played through all ten of the cello books, and built quite a repertoire from there. It's a good foundation for any violin/viola/cello student!
