  1. I thought it was 2

    An-ya

  2. it has 2, ahn-yah.

  3. I assumed it was 2.  That's how I'd pronounce it.

  4. I would say two just like almost everyone else - An-yah.  Like someone else suggested, you might want to change the spelling.  This is a name that will have to be corrected because the majority of people are going to pronounce it with two syllables.  Don't get so upset.

  5. 2 syllables - because the Y is being used as a consonant.

Aneyah/Aniyah/Anayah seems more like 3 syllables. Use that if you have a problem with how many syllables ppl use (though I don't think either are pretty)

  6. 2

  7. yeah, i thought it was 3 to begin with. because Anya is spelled differently.

  8. I dont like the name b/c I wasnt sure how it was pronounced

  9. Spelled this way it will be pronouced An-ya with 2.  If its to be pronounced Ah ny ah I think you'll have to change the spelling. Aniyah I would pronouce with 3.

  10. i have never heard some one say AH-NY-AH and i know something by this name.

    its pronounced AN-YAH!

whoever pronounces it with three syllables is using too much emphasis!

  11. depends on how you pronounce it if you say it and like with three go with three or vice versa but i say 3 personally! good luck

  12. i would say just two--an-ya. you may want to re think the spellng. i know a woman whose daughter's name is Anaiah, and it is pronounced with three syllables as you wish. Anaiah Lenai is her name.

  13. 2 i think

  14. Looking at the name I would say it Anya, so 2. You might want to spell it Aniyah if you want it pronounced that way.
