  1. 13 in rugby league, 15 in rugby union

  2. 13

  3. 13 - a full union team less the flankers

  4. 13 (& subs).

  5. 13 and usually 5-7 reserves number 20 being reserve half back and counting down from there.

  6. 13 on the field at a time.

  7. 13 but the 11 you use in football is better because rugby is a poofs sport

  8. 13

    1 fullback

    2centres

    stand off

    scrum half

    2 wingers

    2 props

    hooker

    2 2nd rows

    loose forward

  9. on the field there are 13. There are then 5 interchanges. They are not substitutes because they can be brought on, then taken off, then put back on. But, that is how many there are on the pitch, per team, at any one time.

The amount of players in a team varies from team to team. In the St. Helens team there are 25 players (I only know this because I support them)(I am not a glory hunter, I have supported them for many years because St Helens is my home town).

  10. Lucky-for-a-change 13.  Substitutes extra.  The ref is helped by a video ref as well as the 2 touch judges.  Temporary sin-binnings and sendings off formally can reduce the numbers on the field at any time of the 80 minutes normal play.  In France the game is called Treize (ie 13),In Australia it's called Ragbyluyg.  Born in Huddersfield.  HQ in Leeds can supply all your answers on this subject.
