How many teams dropped the batons in the relays this olympics?

I know both the USA men and women dropped them. My husband use to run relay. They are not teaching the correct hand positions in the handing off the baton any  more, that is why they are being dropped. The correct way is to have the runner with his hand near his side, arm straight, no bent elbows. New runner can reach back slightly with his arm-but only slightly, with palms down and fingers slightly curled. The runner takes the baton and slaps it up into the new runner's hand, then he closes his hand when he feels the baton. Use this method and the baton will not be dropped.

This Olympics is now known as "The Curse of the Baton".

I know the US men and women, Great Britain and another country I don't remember. Jamaica's women didn't even get to pass the baton if I remember so they got disqualified too.
