Question:

How many teens take the transit to get to work?

I have an interview for a job which is going to require me to take the transit.. just that i have no idea what the ruit will be.. im going to go today to buy some tickites.. how should i go about asking.. ? never taken the transit before so im totally lost lol!

im 17 by the way :)

  1. check out what times you'll be riding transit.  If it's commute hours, you'll be on with a million other people and your worst problem will be getting a seat.

    If it's other hours, then maybe take a test ride with a friend and see what it's like.  A lot of transit is fine, but a few rides (or the walk to/from them) can be dicey.

    So you need to hit the transit agency's website and get maps and schedules.  Really, if you can figure out roads, you'll have no trouble with transit maps.


  2. Most transit companies have websites that list schedules and costs.  Use google, search for your city name and the name of your transit company.  (example: Philadelphia SEPTA or Baltimore MTA).  That should get you the website link.

    You'll do fine on transit.  Best of luck with the job interview!

  3. first if you are unsure about what bus or trains to take you may want to call in and ask for directions its nothing wrong with that.
