How many tennis balls are used at Wimbledon?

It would be intresting too know how many balls are actually used. Where do they come from.

The Wimbledon stork brings them. 500. Then the Wimbledon organizers SHOOT the stork to commence the ceremonies. That's all done behind the scenes though.
