How many text does an iphone hold?!?

Does it hold as many as u want?

i want a iphone but the number one thing

i love about my phone is it holds about 1000 text in each box

how is the text with a iphone?!

I have an iphone and i never delete my text messages out.......(call me lazy) last month I am almost ashamed to say I had 6500 texts sent and received on it and had plenty of space.  This is on the 16gb 3G.  I have 400 songs and my pics varies.  I have never had an issue with space.  The fullest I have gotten my phone was 2bg I still had 14 left, it would take alot to fill it up.
