How many think jericho's promos suck now?

now ive always been a big chris jericho fan but ever since the great american bash and even before that he came out every week saying the same stuff like i put shawn michaels out he gone for good ive moved on all the same stuff he been saying for a month and the pattern went on monday night i mean him coming out doing these dumb promos are stopping him from get in the world title picture

I was thinking that last night lol, but it's good in a way.

If Chris Jericho can carry on the way he is now, then I would LOVE to see him take the title of CM Punk in a few months time. I'm not a Punk hater, I'm a huge fan of Punk, but the WWE needs a Chris Jericho title reign again.

He might say the same thing all the time, but it gets you to dislike him, it gets you to think he's a jerk and a b*****d, an that's exactly what people think of him. Jericho is a great heel anyway, but I do see your point.

Well you know if the fans could just let HBK be over as the heel, then we may not even have this problem and Jericho wouldn't have to have gone heel atleast not this way. HBK was the one who kicked him in the face all those months ago but fans cheered instead of booed. But I think heel, face, "boring" or wild.. Jericho's promos will never flat out SUCK, he's still very good on the mic and can get the crowd to love him or hate him pretty well no matter what.

Just because they aren't the old enthusiastic "LOOK AT ME I'M JERICHO!" promos doesn't mean they aren't well done.

Agreed its kinda boring listening to him go on and on about nothing the writers should brought him back and gave him the WWE title so he could have feuded with Triple H

I agree his promos are less fun, but we are seeing a darker, twisted side of Jericho. I think WWE may be setting him up for a major heel turn. While I miss the good ol' days where he would run down Stephanie as a 2 bit ho, if WWE are going to do this they need to do it all the way. They cannot leave Jericho in limbo. If he is going heel they need to go all the way.

By the way, I am totally confused as to why Y2J has been left out of the upcoming Unforgiven main event, especially since he scored a win on Punk last night. JBL should be dropped (he has lost 2 title matches in a row) and Jericho added. Also, the scramble sounds kind of stupid as the title match will be only 20 minutes long. When was the last time a World title match went only 20 minutes??

What did you expect from Jericho as a heel? Comedy?

Comedy, cheap shots, and jokes got Jericho liked and over as a face or a tweener. As an all-out heel, Jericho's speeches can't be funny, or he'll get less heat the The Rock did as the Corporate Champion. Also, with his storyline with HBK, there's not much room for comedy, or else no one would be interested in it.
