i think he should have been locked up for a lot longer if not forever,

i think that many countries not willing to let him is a good thing. but the problem remains that once he returns to UK he will be free to commit the sick crime again.

If he's refused to enter the UK (according to media, blaming chest pains) then he should be refused entry full stop.  Why should we allow sick people like him back into the UK ? Maybe a "Lost" island would be better, but with mines around it so they can't escape.......

Anyway his sentence was far too lenient in the first place.

I heard somebody on the radio the other day - saying that making him a complete pariah wasn't the right way to go about it because then the only company he would keep would be other paedophiles and that would tend to reinforce his offending behaviour.  I thought that made a lot of sense.

i doubt that any country would want to pay to have mr glitter as their permanent 'guest'

locking him up for life would equate molestation with murder - and provide less of an incentive to reform their ways especially when the children concerned are able to get on with their lives after having therapy

that isn't to say we all minimise what he did - far from it - he is a serial offender and i for one am glad that he is not getting away with it and is being used to set an example to other 'tourist' paedophiles that they wont get away with it

and at long LAST the government are cracking down and taking away the passports of such people too - what on EARTH took them so long?
