How many time has Hawthorn won the AFL Premierships?

Hawthorn have won 9 grand finals in the years 1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991.  those are the years that hawthorn have won premierships and they have been in many other grand finals and finals but they have also won the wooden spoon 11 times.

9 total premierships. First was in 1961 over Footscray. Last was in 1991 over West Coast, the only GF played at Waverley.

Ash's answer is probably the one you are looking for, but technically, Hawthorn has only won 1 AFL premiership. Their earlier previous premierships were in the VFL, because the AFL didn't exist until 1990.
