I know cows that are raised for their meat change about 3 times a day, but I'm stumped on this one.

  1. Because these poor bovines have been bred to produce such huge amounts of milk and their udders are enormous, they have to change their shirts at least twice a day as their milk lets down and wets their shirts before they get into the milking stalls.  They may change more often if they hear their calves bawl as that will cause a milk let down as well which is why they keep the calves away from the mothers.  I can completely commiserate with them as I was once dancing in a ballet when I heard my son crying in the audience and my milk let down wetting my satin dress front.  Luckily, a very wise Chinese lady took a wet cloth and wet the entire front of my costume so that the milk drips weren't as noticeable.

  2. Are you from another plantet cow's do not have shirts

  3. She actually changes it twice a year.  She puts on her heavy warm one in the fall, then changes it to a light cool one in the spring.  So do the beef cattle, as far as that goes.

  4. Has she got a bell round her neck.Does she have an umbrella. Is she winking at the bull.Has she got a body odour problem. Is her tail tied or free.does she have hair extensions. Can she drive.Does she wear nylon shirts.Or satin. The whole question looks too open ended for me to milk .

  5. this is a mastomatic question an relies on the mood of the matriarch cow, normally after a good days grazing around 17.50 hours she will indicate in bovine language a total change of shirt this can also happen at 04.30 hours ,during winter months you may need the assistance of night vision bino's to observe this fine tuning of her bell whilst chewing the cud (regurgitation of earlier grazing intake) this info was gleaned from a milk maid of some experience whilst in the hay barn before nose bag time

  6. I suppose it depends on what she has going on that day. I'm sure if she has housework to do, lunch with the girls and then dinner with the bull, she'll change at least 3 times. If she's very indecisive, probably about 10.

  7. It actually depends on the climate the animal is in too.
