  1. Twice a week. 2 hrs in the driving range and 1 hr for chipping and putting. I played 3 times a week.

  2. If you are a golfer and a range is available, go to the course and use the range for a few warm up shots prior to playing. You get a greater benefit from playing nine holes than you would from2 hours on the range.

  3. Well you do not have to go to the golf range, i never go to the golf range in the summer. The reason is i have golfed in the last probably 48 hours so i dont need to. The only time i do go out there is before a golf meet or during the spring, then i can get warmed up because i do not golf in winter so i need to get my game back. If you have a hard time hitting something then you should go out there. It is really up to you how much you want to be out there.

  4. It's good to go to the range all the time if you don't want to improve your scores. There's nothing wrong with practicing on the range but you got to know when you need to take what you have practiced onto the golf course. Some people just make around with their mates which is doing nothing for their golf. Try to practice on the course as much as possible, it will help more than just going to the range. I play off 2.6 this format of practice helps me alot. Good Luck.

    Have a good one...

  5. it depends on your needs as a golfer. if your competing it would be more than if you just going to the course on saturdays to hang with friends and drink beer. me, i have enough land to practice all of my wedges to my 9 iron, and got nice carpeting in my house to work on chipping and putting. a normal day for me consists of about 200 full swings and about 2 hours of chipping and putting. i would go when you can and there is never to much practicing you can do for golf.

  6. If you working on a specific goal, go as frequently as possible, so long as you are able to concentrate and discipline yourself to that goal.  If you are going simply to pound balls, be careful you don't become frustrated if you don't improve.

  7. Well , I go to the range 4 times a week for @ 2 Hrs per day  I spend @ 1 Hr per day per day  putting and another 1 hr per day working on chipping I play 18 holes per day . 6 days a week.......I suppose some would call that excessive....I don't.

  8. It's all up to you and how much spare time you have.

I go after school and a lot during the holidays.

My average would be 30 a week.

    I play off 5
