  4. I assume you mean The USA.  "America" could mean North America or South America, which are continents.  I assume you mean North America, which is home to Mexico, Canada and the USA.

    The United States of America is 3,537,441square miles.  

    The United Kingdom is 94,251 square miles.

    3,537,441 / 94,251 = 37.5

    The United States of America is a 37.5 times bigger than the United Kingdom.  

    The state of Texas is bigger than the UK.  Texas is 266,853   square miles.  Texas is 2.8 times larger than the UK.

    The USA state that is roughly the same size of the UK is Michigan, but even Michigan is a little bigger.  

    11 out of 50 states are larger per square mile than the UK.  They are (in order of largest to smallest); Alaska, Texas, California, Montana, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon, Wyoming, and Michigan.

  5. Well, it extends from almost, north pole to the south pole, so it's long, it varies in width from almost nothing to very wide. It's a lot bigger than the UK.
