I went to Canada in May of this year and had a great time. Now ive been invited back in September for another visit. However, I'm worried that if i go i may be deported back because its another trip within 6mths. I'm a UK citizen if anyone can give me some answers then maybe i wont worry so much.

  1. You can go back to Canada without any problems. U.K. passport holders are exempt from a visa requirement for a stay in Canada for up to six months, that means you can come and go as often you want within that six months period.

SInce you went in May, your visa stamp in your passport is still valid until November.

If you plan to stay longer than November, you should apply for a visa extension for tourist purposes.

  6. You can visit us as much as you want but you cannot stay longer than 6 months at a time. It's the same for the U.S. Alot of retired people from Canada go to Florida from October to March/April.
