How many times can we travel with this Shengen Visa?

My girlfriends Shengen Visa has confused me a little so I need help.

Valid from 01-09-08

Valid until 30-11-08

Multi Entry

Days 30

Does this mean she can use it once for a max of 30 days

or

Does it mean she can visit many times in the valid period for a maxium of 30 days per visit

Multi Entry means that she can go out and get back into the Schengen zone.

I have never heard of a Schengen visa for just 30 days, but it looks like that is what she has gotten. That is 30 days in total, not per visit.

So between the given dates she can enter and leave the Schengen countries for as often as she likes, up to 30 days stay.

If she arrives 23:45 it will count as a day, if she leaves 5 AM it will count as a day, so be careful about the amount of days of staying.
