How many times can you take nuvaring out?

I am on nuvaring, this being my first time and i love it so far. For anyone thinking about it, I have heard a lot of bad things about it, but my only side effects are that my b*****s have grown and my s*x drive is constantly up. I have a question though, the first time I had s*x with my partner it didnt bother him very much, but it rubbed me really bad, so i just take it out. I know I can only take it out for three hours at a time, but I have a question. We usually just go at it for about 30 min for an hour. But we live about 2 hours away and just visit each other about once a month, so we do this about hour long sack session about 3 or 4 times a day. Does anyone know if the three hours of it being out pertains to every 24 hours? Basically, how long can it be out in a 24 hour period if its only out for an hour tops?

I think it would be for 3 hours in a 24 hour period it should say weather or not they have to be consecutive. You could also try talking to youre Dr.  just to make sure

Rather than try and figure out the complex math of how long you can have NuvaRing out for - why not just go get on a different method of birth control.  If the ring is causing discomfort during s*x, it's not a good bc method for you.  

From what NuvaRing's site says - they mean no more than 3 hours in the THREE weeks you're supposed to be wearing it.  If you are taking it in and out like that, you should probably be using backup methods like a condom.
