How many times can you tell someone who is constantly TEASING you for things you cannot control???

How many times would you ALLOW IT before you said.."I do NOT appreciate your teasing>.Then would you be their friend if they KEPT ON DOING IT??? (you know abusers are not AWARE!)..I appreciate your comments.

once u allow it the first time without saying something,it allows them to think it's o.k.if that person is truly a friend he or she would not hurt you and for the record abusers are aware perhaps they have been abused themselves and think this is normal than maybe you being their friend should suggest they seek some professional help.

it sounds like they would make fun of a dislexique person or dwarf if they saw one which isnt funny just mean tell them to stop and if they truely are your friend then they will. dont ever let someone make you feel bad about yourself esp. if its something you cant help

You deserve better, nobody should put up with insults.  It is immature and uncalled for, do not be their friend anymore.

No, you should not force yourself to be the butt of someone's jokes.  If all they do is harrass you, they're losers, and you don't need that c**p- tell them to get lost.

First of all avoid them whenever possible. If you can no longer avoid them confront him/her and say "this is stopping here and I hope talking to you about it will do the trick and if not we will try something else and continue to try until this problem is resolved"! Then resolve the problem!

the answer is once. then tell them,if it continues and it affects you negatively ,it's a no-brainer.you want people who support you and reaffirm your qualities and strengths. I'm not sure abusers are unaware, you may be cutting them too much slack. best of luck.

Obviously, if they keep doing it against your wishes, they have zero respect for you. People who don't respect others don't deserve to have friends.
