Not one mention of the names of their leaders of the past 8 years and all this whining and dribble about the Democrats.

As an independent I was put off with all the negativity and total lack of actual responsibility. Sure the partisans were electrified like a rock concert but there was very little attraction for the objective independents and we are going to decide the outcome not the already convinced.

  1. She's was looking to the future, not into the past.  What's wrong with that?

  2. All they have is smoke and mirrors.  They cannot run on any record of the previous administration, just say the other side is bad...not that they are good.

  3. I find it funny, to create the impression that they are mavericks they have  to disassociate from the leaders of their own party.

  4. Hmmmm, I noticed that to, but then Bush and Cheney are not running for office are they.  Why would you talk about the past leaders if you were going to run on your own merits and run the Country the way you felt it should be run?  Now I am not a McCain fan but I think he made an incredible pick for running mate in Palin, and she made a grand slam with her speech.

As for being negative, I really saw very little attacking.  Yes she did slam the media and Obama but she slammed Obama on his issues and things that he had said, which I see as totally fair.  Their was nothing in her speech that was said out of context or that was untrue.  Unlike several of the speeches at the DNC.  The media deserved everything they got as they have lied and slandered her since she was picked to run with McCain.  Yes all in all I say she hit a grand slam and as I was not going to vote will now be voting with enthusiasm for the Republican ticket.

  5. No one is mentioning Bush or Cheney.

Interesting observation you have based on the rock star treatment Obama has gotten.

You are correct. REAL Independents will have a say in this election. Better get used to saying "President McCain".

    I've seen your other "questions".

  6. The main course for her last night was to introduce herself and her family and let all Americans know who she is.  She did a great job.  Jealous are ya?

  7. The Republicans have been in control for 8 years, 6 of them with a Republican Congress, and they aren't even mentioned at the RNC convention?

The other thing I wanted to hear that was absent was something of substance about the economy. I'm a registered independent, so attacking other candidates does nothing for me. I was looking for information and heard none. Very disappointed.
