(Jazeera channel is bold and broadcast live events from the war, not totally aligned with US channels)

I don't think they ever bombed Al Jazeera, but they have threatened to. It's because Al Jazeera shows the world what the Western media doesn't. The Arabic Al Jazeera shows the gory and grim realities of war, as does the English Aljazeera. However, the latter is really a diluted version of the former. The people in West are only shown the conflicts but rarely the casualties and their horrendous injuries. Perhaps they're just too tender-hearted to be shown the truth about things. Anyhow, long live Al Jazeera! They give voices to those that the West ignore. Such as the Palestinians.
