How many times do you say the word 'like' in a normal sentence?

Just wondering, I just noticed how much I say it. It's really hard for me not to say it sometimes! (But I don't say it like the girly-girl way thats just like over and over and over again....)

it really depends if i know how to say what i want to or not

if i can't get it out i say like heaps

however my aunt bet me ten dollars that i couldn't go without saying like for the rest of the day.....so shame i lasted less than 5 minutes!

i would love to know the Psychology behing it though!

I like, say like, like after like every other word!

joking! I say it maybe once for every two sentences? It depends on what I'm talking about; I might say it several times in a sentence if I'm having difficulty explaining, or something.

i don't, like, say it like a girly girl either, but my dad, he's like, "stop using the word like!" and i'm like, "why would i like doing that, dad?" and he's like, "i don't know, just stop saying like!"
