How many times do you spray heat protectant spray into your hair?

I just recently bought a bottle of TREsemme heat tamer. The first time I used it I wasn't sure if all my hair was being protected so I spray a lot, and my hair started looking oily and greasy. Then the next time I used it I used less but now I feel that my hair isn't being completely protected.. So I was wondering how many sprays do you gals use?

You don't need too much, I do about two sprays on either side of my hair, but I don't spray it really close to my hair. And then one spray on the underside and back.

I spray enough so its just gets damp all over, then wait for it to dry and mines never oily

I just use a couple but i flip my hair all around, some brands have made my hair oilly, I havent tried that brand, but maybe give it a couple more tries and if it continues move on. But when I get out of the shower and I am ready to Blow dry I just flip my hari all around and spry or spry in your hand.

I use one for my right side, one for my left, and one for the back. I hold it quite far away too, so only a mist of it goes on. It should be enough. =]
